NASA is elevating its digital platforms for the benefit of all by revamping its flagship and science websites, adding its first on-demand streaming service, and upgrading the NASA app. With these changes, everyone will have access to a new world of content from the space agency.
With this being a free service, I feel like calling it NASA+ is a bit misleading. To me, I feel like the “+” indicates a paid, premium service. If it wasn’t for the title of this post that clarifies that it’s free, I probably wouldn’t have even considered installing the app based on the name, alone.
Either way, this is great news! I’m probably gonna check this out once it’s available. I wish they’d have a release date, though. The official page just says “Coming soon”.
Feels very much like they’re just following the trend of a bunch of streaming services that just add a + to the end. As long as it’s good though I don’t think it matters much

Strikes me as tongue-in-cheek.
I think Paramount ++good sounds promising
I much prefer Paramount#
i dont know. the garbage collection is buggy and keeps removing objects before they finish running
It may mean, NASA content plus other content they feel is appropriate to the service.
I don’t usually think “paid service” when I see the plus symbol added to something.
The release date is November 8th.
