I’m considering moving from Android to iPhone, but I read a lot about iPhone images being over processed. What’s your opinion? Am I going to be disappointed in the camera?

I did find this thread where one user mentioned it may be the viewer on the iPhone, and that pictures look fine viewed on other devices.

I’m curious to hear opinions. How happy are you with your phone camera?

The over-processing is mostly too much sharpening in my opinion. For example, my pets look like they have gelled hair on iPhone. On my Canon they look nice a soft and realistic.

In normal viewing they look fine, but if you’re a fan of zooming for detail you may be disappointed. I prefer the look of photos from my 10. I like a bit of grain more than artificially sharp.
