Is it just me, or is this something everybody is seeing?
Likely a bot account reposting content from elsewhere. I recommend blocking those users, since the content is usually not worth reposting.
honestly it destroys lemmy experience for me because it makes lemmy look like a bot-cloned reddit. i barely ever see genuine posts at all.
There is a setting to turn off bots in your settings on the web portal. I’ve had them turned off since I joined.
I’m on Kbin and I don’t see them. (Or I don’t notice them, it’s not very apparent at least).

In your profile settings, you can choose to hide posts by accounts marked as bot. I’d recommend trying that out.
