Agreed. This is a good idea overall, but the implementation smells like a bailout of commercial real estate developers to me.

I’m certainly suspicious of them intentionally not fixing some performance bugs until later to encourage people to upgrade now that the new phones are launching.

Re: enshittification - I totally agree that they’ve ruined what Etsy was actually good for and now they’re just milking it dry. It’s all generic, mass produced crap now and the search result ads within their site are incredibly obtrusive.
