I’ve not been trying to pour the drink over the cap, no. It’s just fiddly and you have to make sure the cap doesn’t flap back over the bottle while you’re pouring. I can’t be the only person who finds them inconvenient in this respect? Surely there’s a better way of keeping the cap attached without it getting in the way?

When they first introduced these, my brother thought it was a defect and ripped it off. It leaves a pretty sharp bit of plastic behind and he cut his hand when he screwed the lid back on. I get the idea behind them (it’s so you have to recycle the cap along with the bottle) but there’s got to be a better way than this. It makes it a pain to pour a drink or drink directly from the bottle.

Oh god I hate it. I can’t explain why it makes me feel so angry. Sometimes if I stretch with my arms up my husband will give me a little playful gentle poke in the ribs and I feel so bad because it honestly makes me want to punch him. I have this horrible visceral reaction to it. It doesn’t make me laugh at all, just feels like nails down a chalk board and painful at the same time.

Zoflora cleaning products. All the ones like Fabulosa etc are just poor imitations. Zoflora have the best scents and cleaning power.

That, and a scrub daddy with the power paste. I can clean anything with those products.

Not necessarily the most ridiculous… but anything with something stuck on the back so it can’t lie flat. Like those rings that double as a stand. I’d be so annoyed if I had to put my phone face down all the time.

When you’re on a shopping site and a little pop up appears over the picture of the item telling you how many people have bought it in the last day and how many have viewed it. I don’t care!! Just let me see the actual item!

I’ve been wondering the same myself. Lots of the new apps popping up aren’t just heavily influenced by the functionality of Apollo, they’re directly cloning things like the icons, and the text in certain scenarios like when there’s no comments on a post and it says something like “it’s quiet… too quiet” or something like that. And when you view a comment and there’s a banner at the bottom saying it’s a single comment thread. The syntax is identical.

I’m not complaining because it really has made the transition to the fediverse very easy. But I know Christian put literally years of work into Apollo and I don’t want to feel like new developers are ripping that off.
