The ford mondeo (I think it was called the fusion in the US) was ‘inspired’ by the Aston Martin Rapide. This was at a time when Ford owned Aston Martin. Fisker and Porritt, who worked at tesla when the model S came out, also worked for Ford/Aston Martin.
It’s not just me either. For example, here’s a ten year old thread on the tesla forum which mentions it:
https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/threads/ford-mondeo-copying-s-design.42767/
The tesla model S looks like a decade old eurospec Ford Mondeo.
Certainly look more alike than a porsche and a byd.
What happens when something requires maintenance in a month/week/day?
Insert more poop emojis.

when israel releases the 3000+ Palestinian hostages they hold in concentration camps we can reach a ceasefire.
In other words, you would rather that Israel continue bombing Gaza, than that Hamas and Israel sign a ceasefire today.
Almost as if you don’t actually care about the innocent men, women and children who are dying, as you find it politically convenient the conflict continues. Especially in the run-up to the US election.
Square covers like this are common globally. AFAIK also in the US:

Setting square tiles or paving stones around a circular cover is a pain in the ass.
But it wouldn’t be the first time the US is weird, like the whole imperial measurements thing, so whatever. Or maybe you live in a state that decided square manhole covers were biblically incorrect.

It’s next to a drainpipe…

Depends. The cover is resting on the inside lip which prevents moisture getting in. Ie. this cover is actually significantly bigger than the hole it’s covering.
Eg. if this cover is 25x25, but it’s covering a hole which is less than 18x18 (c=25.5), it’ll be quite hard to drop the cover in.

It’s really strange that it’s square and not round.
It’s not even slightly strange. These are incredibly common all across Europe and the world.
It’s a small cover, almost certainly to service the nearby drainpipe or perhaps for the water or gas connection to a house.
The chance of it falling in the hole is zero unless you’re trying to do it on purpose. Lift and slide, done.
And even if it does fall in, you can simply reach in and pull it out.

Don’t be lazy.
Get a cable tie or some tongs, pull it out, rotate it, done.
Less effort than it took to take this picture and post it on here.
Yeah.
This is why I bought myself some blink cameras. Obviously, privacy is shit (and I’ve factored this) and you’re affectively forced to pay for use their cloud service, but at least the (initial) purchase price is cheap.
But I’ve ‘bought’ cameras for far more, only for them to hobble functionality a few years down the line. And they’ve had vulnerabilities or whatever.
For the sensitive stuff, I have a camera with an SD card, but obviously phone notifications is a big selling point of systems like this.
It says it’ll be free for Window 365 users. Ie. 70 bucks and that includes office.
Obviously it’s not great, but it’s better than adobe.
Windows 95 cost two hundred 30 years ago.
And according to the promotional video, it will pleasure you with a special dance.
