Has that been verified?
Yet another “AI bad” post that I can’t replicate. Not that I’m defending Google, they’ve been shit ever since they removed “do no evil” from their strategy, but this is silly. It takes two seconds to verify the top auto generated result when you search something, you literally just have to scroll to the second and third results. If you just take the autogenerated answer (I’m feeling lucky?) without doing any verifying then someone failed you when it comes to doing online research. And for what it’s worth, within hours of this issue being discovered, it was corrected by the same system that made the erroneous claim in the first place.
I’m getting so tired of the pessimists who are against AI. Granted, I can reflect and see my own similar attitude towards Trump: no matter what, I would never vote for him considering his history and who he is as a person. But treating the next generation of technology feels different than that to me; AI is the future, it’s the next revolution. Sure, there are several real issues to criticize and question (copyright, compensation, hallucination come to mind) but instead shit here on Lemmy just gets downvoted to hell with no explanation. I know this comment will get downvoted, but I just wish we could have a discussion about the future without shutting down every practical comment wanting to talk about it.
Like I said, they just hate AI here. It’s pretty amusing
Lol careful posting anything that isn’t negative about AI on Lemmy. They hate AI here
I thought this was already very well known
Whenever this is posted, a couple Karen’s crawl out of the primordial ooze to remind us they’ve never worked retail and are incapable of empathizing with the workers (I count 2 of them in this comment section right now). I could never work retail again, people like this are as soul crushing as the manager who will reprimand you because of their 1 star review
I very, very seldomly use it. But infighting like you’re advocating for is exactly what giga corporations want us to do. What we SHOULD be doing is demanding better policies from companies, and electing officials who will enforce those demands.
The rich want us to fight each other so we forget it’s us vs them and we vastly outnumber them. Don’t fall for it.
IIRC, she miscarried and sued for the emotional distress of continued ads which followed the expected development of her (tragically lost) baby.
Wow you solved every data privacy problem. Just don’t be a consumer, why didn’t I think of that? It’s not the companies that are the problem, it’s our fault!
Hence why Dennis pulls out a giant paper whiteboard to explain his D.E.N.N.I.S. system
Why did you engage with it at all, let alone upvote it
The culinary opposite of haggis is leafy greens
Correct. The article attempts to paint all of this in a good light, but in reality that team just “helps” them get to Denver. And the local government bemoans that Denver is full of homeless. It’s infuriating
Hey! I just traveled through ~8 countries in the EU. I give you a 50/50 shot at making your flight. 2 hours is the recommended time between flights, so I’m not sure why they tried to book your flights so close together. However, as long as you are good at following directions, and as long as your initial flight isn’t delayed, you should make it to your second flight with some time to spare. Those are two big ifs though, as airports in foreign countries can be confusing, and flights are often delayed. I genuinely think this is a roll of the dice in terms of luck. That being said, good luck!
Better make an account in the next 5 days
