I’m not sure how I did it but, my steam opens in windowed mode, It might be grandfathered from the previous UI though cause I don’t see where I could have set that up.

so far I’ve seen some bots post articles that setup some pretty decent conversation. I am slightly annoyed that it floods but, I just keep my sorting by stuff that’s hot and it’s usually good.
the new steam sucks hardcore. I hate everything to do with it. It’s buggy, it lags, you can’t use themes, it crashes randomly, it memory leaks. Heck it was suck bad performance that they pushed the beta back multiple times before finally releasing it and its still not ready.
so AAA typically arrive late
that’s IF they arrive at all. Many studios/publishers just don’t care about lower hardware anymore. If it doesn’t run on current day hardware they don’t release it for it. Especially with Linux and Mac. The best time to get a release for the the two would be release day, after that it’s diminishing results
I firmly believe that with the move to ARM, they gutted macos gaming capability past the point of no return. You used to be able to say that you could run compatibility layers on it but, the new architecture makes it super hard to do so. Even virtualizing it via VirtualBox is a pain in the butt on the new system. I’ve just been telling customers if you want any type of gaming support, choose anything but the new macs.
my door doesn’t close fully, so I close it all but the crack that is forced. I do this because people in the house are up and down constantly, and my sleep schedule would bd interrupted if I left it open.
I’ve been told if you do all four insurance might be more apt to cover it, best to do one to three of them that way it might not be covered
I hope someone with an old rust bucket parks in one of those driver spaces
that you can not! lol Thankfully theres ton’s of options. I personally couldn’t get into having communities be called magazines, I found it confusing to find what I wanted then I moved to lemmy and then it was somewhat re-enforced the decision when it was stated that the instance was being de-federated from some instances so I sorta just stayed.
this is gold, thank you
I made an account on both world and kbin, I gave up mostly on the kbin account, I couldn’t find anything local that caught my eye and I didn’t like the UI layout for it, that night be part of their issue as well
or sometime they do hash the password but they are just ignorant of how it works so they keep the limit regardless
some sites like Walmart are removing the password requirement completly in favor of OTP, mcdonalds does the same, you type your email/phone number it sends you a link and you click the link to gain access. I wouldn’t recommend that for a bank site but, a low risk site? why not.
you gotta be careful with the afterlife though, only heros make it past judgement iirc most get turned away for aimless wander or whatever it was
I blocked it at the router, so nowadays I don’t use it unless there’s an article I really need to access
if cartoons count, the “return the slab” episode on Courage the cowerdly dog, scared the hell out of me and I couldn’t be in the dark for months after.
I limited my shopping on Amazon the last few years. Too many “deals” that are the same during prime day as off. Like I was looking at a set of weights, was 199 now 99, they have been 99 for the last month now, the “deal” is now changed to “prime day exclusive” and price stayed the same. Yea… definitely prime day exclusive… definitely worth actually browsing the platform for these sales.
I just don’t buy anything with bright LEDs, if it doesn’t require it to function then I don’t want it if they want to add useless indicators to something that doesn’t need it then they don’t need my business
Right, so many sites try their hardest to have every thing hosted on their own platform, then they put stupid High restrictions on what you can actually do with the content because of the fact that they’re now having everything on their own host. Switching from peer to peer to Cloud hosted was in my opinion the beginning of the downfall for Skype. It removed a lot of its permissions that you could give on the platform, it broke compatibility of the Unix Community which took them two and a half years to finally fix, and it actually butchered their reliability
I think a lot of it is to do with the actual chance that the individual is going to get charged with it, big companies generally go after the Distributors and not the individuals regarding it. Plus staying online that you did something doesn’t prove that you actually did it so they would still have to get solid evidence that you actually did it which costs money A lot of times more money than they would have lost from the pirating activity in the first place which is why a lot of them just settle for sending a dmca to the ISP and the ISP for as it saying LOL you better not be doing this
This is a super simple setup, the elevator has both a north and a south door. but the ground floor (0) only has a north exit meaning that they never added a ground south floor. but they wanted aesthetics over functionality so instead of having an empty button slot and moving everything up, they changed the number so the south wing starts at 1 and north wing at 0
