Legend of the Galactic Heroes. Feels like good old Asimov could have written it. The remake is also pretty good so far.

I’m tired of calling it protest votes. The last idiot in a cave should have heard by now that they are literally Nazis. People who voted for them are Nazis. Which gives me the creeps as a citizen of Germany.
But on the national issues thing I’m full on your side.
No. And I will still be able to share pictures. It’s magic.
Wait - are you saying people didn’t have our modern social norms back then? Who would have thought!
As a German I hate to break it to you Germany, but didn’t you kill your advanced clean technology more than ten years ago for fucking coal? And everybody said it would be a fatal mistake, we would be left behind?
I’m a surprised Pikachu.
Donaudampfschiffahrtskapitänsmützenhalter.
Same. The moment you don’t understand the dialogue then it’s not important, that moment it’s about atmosphere. Worked great for me. I enjoyed the sound mixing in this movie!
Thank you! I have about 5 games on steam, so I haven’t installed it on my system. The only interesting one is Doom 2016, so for a moment I thought I could download the installer as a backup without having to use steam anymore in the future when I do want to play it again. Would have been nice. Thanks for clarifying!
So no installer then? Or can you download that separately?
So it’s possible to download the installer through steam, store it somewhere and ten years later I can just start the installer without having steam on my system?
Asking out of curiosity, I don’t use steam, I never thought that would be possible?
I replayed Mirror’s Edge a few days ago, with modern hardware in 4k, it still feels stunning! It has aged exceptionally well, thanks to the art style.
The only thing I did not like were the fights. They slow the gameplay and just felt tacked on as an afterthought, thankfully many fights can be avoided by simply running past the enemy.
Highly recommended!
That Gabe that made not owning shit you paid for popular?
Don’t harass Ubisoft. /s
Ignore him.
My friends all had A500s and I was the only one with a PC, I envied them so much. Next Christmas my parents had a surprise for me in my father’s home office, and behold, a 386, soundblaster and a colour VGA monitor. Thanks to the hard drive now I was the one envied :).
But up to this day, even though I never owned one myself the Amiga has forever a special place in my heart! Great memories with good friends!
Sadly I do non of my gaming through steam. But someone else might find this answer useful!
May I ask a question out of curiosity? If my system dies on a hardware level, and I have to save my hard drive, how can I access it then if I can’t put it in another system?
Up to XP I used several dos versions, win3.1, 95, 98, 98SE, and then XP. From there I skipped one version, so 7, then 10. Worked out pretty well so far. So my next windows will hopefully also be 12, and I hope it will have a better UI than 11.
Linux is also interesting, but I like gaming without fiddling too much with my operating system, I just don’t want to commit my rare spare time to that. I want install -> play.
Had a bad day?
It’s funny. Before this crackdown none of my co-workers used adblockers. To install an add-on was too much hassle. They just watched the ads.
Now suddenly they became interested after hearing about them again, and almost all are running Firefox with ublock origin now.
YouTube should have just kept quiet, I don’t believe they are better off now more than before.
It was the same for me with the guy with the hamster in Baldur’s Gate 1 and 2. He’s a favourite to everyone, to me he was just an annoying idiot.
