How about a “convenience fee” for making an online payment. Why should I pay a fee to make the transaction more convenient for the company who no longer has to pay an employee to take the payment in person?

I have hypertrophy of the turbinate in the right nostril. It’s blocked basically all the time. I was prescribed fluticasone and what’s basically a salt water rinse. Neither really does much. That’s an exercise in futility. If Lemmy takes off like Mastodon/Pleroma/Misskey/etc then you would spend your time trying to create accounts on hundreds of Lemmys, some of which will be private or invite only meaning you can’t. Plus, anyone on Mastodon etc. can comment on Lemmy posts. It’s not a task you can complete.

There are fewer ultra rich that need killing though, so it should be easier and quicker this time around, right?
