It’s not a perfect solution but smart drive works really well for me. It’s very customizable.

Mine is also manual, with a push assist(smart drive) its MSRP is 16k!
The software is also really stupid, you have to use a stupid smart watch to control it! You can get other controls(for some functions only) but they didn’t come with the chair without additional costs. The smart watch sucks and my better watch which is also WearOS can’t download the app from the store for some reason… I’d much rather be able to just connect my phone directly.
Besides piracy, you can also find modded versions of apps, they basically unlock all pro features and often add more. I know I have a Spotify app, but it’s really old. Still works though.
Was windows XP the current windows generation or did you pick it for some other reason? I assume it’ll run easier on weak hardware, and until just now never thought about putting it on my laptop as a dual boot for those moments you actually need windows.
I don’t know about this specifically, but in my experience with Mint, it’s very plug and play with this kind of stuff. I’m always really impressed by just how little setup Mint needs.
What’s the advantage of self hosting Matrix?
Modern cell phones. It’s crazy that I basically never need a computer now. My phone is so diversely useful. I spend more money on phones than computers now. It’s also the best camera I’ve ever had! Phones are just so cool lol.
Sorry. I should have specified.
I believe you can “ban” a community from the sidebar but I could be wrong.
As a wheelchair user I absolutely hate when people do this! I ended up forced to go around the back of the car which is way less safe.
That makes sense too. I have a backup of the working APK and backups of my stuff that I can access with or without the app. But for now this app is being actively developed and I’ve been using it for years. I’ll probably keep using it until it stops getting updates if that happens.
I can’t recommend Daylio enough! It’s an app that’s constantly getting new features. It’s very customizable! You can make goals and custom moods which both help me a lot. You can also set reminders to do goals or just to make a daily entry. And all your data is stored locally unless you want to backup up to drive. Which is pretty secure. I think I also read that the backup is encrypted but I could be wrong. You can also manually backup and encrypt it then.
Interesting. I’ll have to take a look at that!
It’s apparently very hot where you live! Just 80s here.
To be calm. I’m in a constant state of panic. I don’t know what to do because the pills aren’t really working… I have awfully bad anxiety.
If I’m not mistaken they also run other software too? I just can’t think of what else. Definitely both Lemmy and Mastodon. Pretty cool really.
